Constructed Wetlands for Greywater Treatment in Semi-Arid Towns
Pilot vertical-flow wetlands reduced biochemical oxygen demand by 87% and allowed treated greywater to be reused for landscape irrigation, cutting municipal water use by an estimated 18%.
